Alexa™ is a U.S. company that provides data on the global traffic of websites. These statistics are extrapolated from software that collect web navigation data (such as Alexa Toolbar ™) installed directly on users' browsers. These figures are often considered unreliable in absolute value, but still can assign a ranking relevant to websites.
